Sometime this off-season The owner of the Indianapolis Colts, Jim Irsay, will make Peyton Manning the highest player in the NFL. And for any Colts fan who thinks that is a bad idea, I have 2 words for you, Jeff George. Anyway, I predicted a Colts victory over New England and I was terribly wrong. The Pats impressed me by how they rattled Peyton and they are certainly a better team and they deserved the win. The have a great chance of winning the Super Bowl, but I don't think they will. I th...

Let me just come out and say it: If you decide to join the so-called internet revolution and sell your copy of "Dirty Dancing on DVD through EBAY (so you can upgrade to the special edition, of course) and you walk into the post office with just the DVD and an address on a piece of paper and say, "I want to mail this," Then you, my friend, are an A-Hole. You are the reason that postal workers go postal. You make the world an annoying place to live. Yes, you are THAT person. All the people be...

It seems that people in New England still believe the weather will be in single digits on Sunday. I know the weather man is not always correct, but as of right now they are saying 20-30 degrees. My 10 year old nephew could play football in 20 degree weather with little more than a jacket on and it would not affect him one bit. Yes, Indy plays in a dome, but they do throw outdoors during practice in Indy where it is 20-30 degrees. I think New England is just wearing their players down if they...

Let’s face it. Patriot fans have to be a little scared of Peyton Manning in the AFC Championship this weekend and with good reason. I am young and have only been watching football since about 1985 (yes, the Bears got me hooked too), but I know that from what I have seen of the NFL in my life that no quarterback has ever played better in two consecutive play-off games than Peyton Manning has. The only QB that has ever come close is Joe Montana and he is the best ever. You can talk all you...

I was the last to know about this huge merger that took place between my company and another. Normally I watch enough news to know things like this first, but I am not into all the office rumors so if I miss the news I am usually left behind. However, with some quick internet peeks (on breaks, of course) I now know, as much or more, than any of my peers, which happens to be somewhere between nothing and very little. Right now it's great considering we are not asked, but rather forced to put...

I once had a writing professor who told me to never tell anyone your ideas, just write it, because once you tell them you have completed your expression and will lose interest. I think this may be true, but, I seem to lose interest, whether I tell my ideas or not. I am thinking of doing the story of a young couple living in a house when it is broken into one night. The story would move back and forth between the criminals (a father and his teenage son), and the couple (mid-twenties). The...
